I cannot believe another year has come and gone! 2019 was definitely one for the books! There were so many firsts, so many challenges, and so many WOW moments that will be cherished forever.

2019 was an amazing year for my little business (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and my blog), but it also was a crazy year for Jason and his business. We tackled some huge hurdles this year. I am so proud of my husband and how much work he put in and how he stepped up to the plate. Even when he was working every waking minute, he still found time to help me with my own business (taking pictures, traveling, editing, and making videos). He truly is a rockstar and I wanted to take a minute to brag about my hubby! Because he really deserves it and I could not do what I do without him.

Honestly, saying goodbye to 2019 was a little bittersweet. It was SUCH A CRAZY YEAR, but I am so excited to jump head first into 2020. I already have some REALLY exciting things planned for this year and I cannot wait to tell you about them.

With a new year comes new goals. I have found that writing a blog post with my goals has really helped me keep my goals in mind throughout the year. Not only is it good to have them written down somewhere, but I am sharing them with you. Sharing them makes me more driven to make them come to fruition and also I feel like it gives you an idea of what is store for the upcoming year. I mean, we are in this together! I could not do any of this without your support and definitely couldn’t do this without your interest.

Personal Goals For 2020

  • Be in the moment more! Less meaningless screen time and more meaningful life moments. I mean, my job comes with a lot of screen time, but I want to reduce my aimless scrolling.
  • Workout at least 3x per week (the more I workout, the more cute workout outfits I get to wear)
  • Eating better and cutting out more carbs **I’m not trying to lose weight, I am just working toward a healthier lifestyle.
  • Start journaling my thoughts/ideas
  • More date nights with Jason (no work talk allowed)
  • Visit my grandparents more. Time with them is precious and I definitely want to be better about spending more time with them.
  • Give back to my community through donations and volunteering. To be honest, I haven’t volunteered in FOREVER…..and I really need to get back into it.

Business Goals For 2020

  • Double my instagram following and engagement
  • Be more creative with content
  • Work on growing my TikTok and Youtube channel
  • Travel more
  • Be more consistent with YouTube and Blog content
  • Start creating a weekly series. This would be consistent content that follows a theme. I am still thinking it through, but I think it would be really fun! I would love to hear your thoughts and ideas in the comments below.
  • Be more positive and not compare myself to others. It is so easy to get lost in what others are doing. I just need to remember to “keep doing me”.
  • Be more proud and confident in my work/content that I create. Self-love and emotional intelligence is a must in this line of work.

That pretty much sums up my goals for 2020! Like I said before, I am so excited to take on this year and more excited to see what will happen. I wish you a wonderful and happy New Year!!
