Our trip to LA was such a fun little get away for our 7 year anniversary. It was probably my favorite trip we have made there so far. We didn’t really do anything too crazy, but each day we did something different and exciting (at least is was exciting to us). I also think my outfits from our trip are my favorite to date! That is why I thought it would be fun to recap my looks from the week and give you all the deets.

Day 1

Travel Outfit– This travel look was not only comfortable to wear but also so chic. I am wearing a t-shirt from H & M, pants from Tiger Mist and Balenciaga knife mules. The Balenciaga’s were definitely extra for traveling, but I didn’t want to squish them in my luggage, plus they were easy to get on and off while going through security.

Cotton On Event– I was obviously wearing all Cotton On for this event. I chose to rock an all denim look. I love wear the jacket hits on my waist it is such a flattering crop jacket. I also was able to get my name embroidered on the collar. Custom denim jacket for the win.

Day 2

Daytime Outfit– Honestly, I was so excited to wear this outfit. I had been looking for a skirt like this one for awhile. It was all about adding pieces to this outfit to make the skirt look as casual as possible. I paired the skirt (from Revolve) with a tank top from H &M (super affordable BTW) and chunky platform sneakers from Princess Polly.

Night look– I wore the same outfit all day, but added my Cotton On denim jacket (because it gets really cool in the evening) and my new fav pair of sunglasses. I found these babies at Reformation Vintage on Melrose (one of my new fav stores). The sunnies are vintage Givenchy and give any look the perfect 90’s vibe.

Day 3 (Our Anniversary)

Workout Outfit– The trip was a mix of work and play (for both us). The morning of our anniversary I attended a super fun event with Bloggers Who Brunch, ALO Yoga and the Grove. I chose to wear a black and white look from ALO Yoga. I wanted something that looked really cute, but wouldn’t show all my sweat from the workout (or hot yoga/spin classes). If you are looking for comfortable, cute, and high quality work out clothes……I totally recommend ALO Yoga.

Day Look– This was my second favorite outfit of the trip……..I’ll let you know which one was my favorite later. The sweater is from Revolve and is probably my favorite top that own. I love the look of it paired with mom jeans and throwback nikes. I feel like Rachel Green from Friends would wear this……AND SHE IS ALWAYS GOALS! This was seriously the perfect outfit for the day. We went to brunch at Kassi Club and then spent the day shopping on Rodeo Dr.! I found some really amazing things while shopping.

Day 4

I only wore one outfit this day because we spent the entire day at Universal Studios! It was something that Jason and I have been talking about doing since our honeymoon 7 years ago. It was pretty hot that day so I chose to wear this adorable crop from Revolve with mom a pair of mom jeans and my new fav sneakers. It was seriously such a magical day. Jason and I get v into amusement parks, lol.

Day 5

Morning look– In the morning, I chose to wear a polo from Storets and a straight leg jean from Agolde. The best part of the outfit, if you ask me, was the hand stitched Prada headband. It was one of my Rodeo Dr. purchases from our anniversary. The outfit was cute, but honestly I felt like something was missing…………

Afternoon Outfit– THIS WAS MY FAV LOOK! I had to stop at Reformation and pick up a plain white t-shirt. I felt like that really completed the outfit. I wanted to keep everything simple and let the Prada headband be the star of the show. I feel like it can be really easy for a piece like that to look like too much……so in this case less was more. Simple and chic was definitely the way to go.

Day 6

Travel Outfit– We had a super early flight and I wanted to be comfortably on the plane. A basic outfit was a necessity. The crop t-shirt (my souvenir, as I call it) was a vintage find from Reformation Vintage and the jeans are Super Baggy Jeans from Levis. The outfit was still missing a little something-something, so I added the Eye Buy Direct glasses as a finishing touch.

The thing I love the most about these outfits, is that each look has so many wardrobe staples that can be mixed and matched. This way you get way more bang for your buck.

Now, go and explore your #chardonnaystyle.

Cheers,
