Finally, the weather is warming up and the grass is starting to turn green! This winter seemed to last forever, but now that it is over, it is time to talk about all things spring.

You are all probably aware that fashion tends to repeat itself, and this year it is all about the late 90’s and early 00’s. Channel your inner Rachel Green/Monica Geller. I needed to write this blog post so I could share my top 5 (early ’00’s) trends for spring.

1.Bangs and/or Short Hair – Let me tell you……It is all about about the hair! I have seen sooooo many people lately getting fringe/bangs! It is becoming more and more popular! Another huge hair trend (that I recently tried for myself) is the blunt bob! You guys, I could not be more obsessed! I feel like this will be THE haircut to have this year.

2. Hair Clips- Yes…you read that correctly……hair clips. Not every one is on board with trend yet, but I feel like by the end of the spring most people will warm up to the idea. The best part about this trend is that you can create so many looks that will keep everyone on their toes! They are a definite showstopper.

3. Biker/Cycling Shorts– Princess Diana styled them best, and we can all take a little inspo from her when putting together outfits with biker shorts. I have really enjoyed styling these because are really so versatile. Check out how I styled my biker shorts in this video HERE.

4. Loose Fitting Straight Leg Jeans– These jeans are such a WIN! Comfortable, edgy, casual, chic and down right sexy………………..is there anything better than that? Again, you easily dress them up or down and can literally wear them for any occasion.

5. Strappy Heeled Sandals– The skinnier the straps are the better. They seriously look like they are barely on your foot. These shoes are so dainty and can be found in all kinds of colors and styles. My favorite are the strappy sandals with the kitten heels. They pair so nicely with denim. A match made in heaven.

Now, that you know what pieces to start filling your spring wardrobe with, it’s time to grab your old Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera CDs and Explore Your #chardonnaystyle.

Cheers,

Taylor
